Virtual Easter Egg Hunt

Happy Easter to you and your family!

We were so disappointed that we could not host our annual Easter Bunny event in the store this year that we tried to come up with a fun way to still interact with our customers during this period of social distancing. Thank you to everyone that participated in our first-ever Virtual Easter Egg Hunt.

We loved reading all of your messages and viewing some of your drawings. It pleased us that so many of you found this to be a fun activity. We had over 160 children participate in the hunt with an average of 43 eggs found per child.

We wish that we could award prizes to everyone as we announce the following prizes in our Virtual Easter Egg Hunt.

We emailed confirmation of entries on 4/12 at 11:45 am. If you did not get this confirmation it means we do not have your entry(s). You may resubmit it until 2:00 this afternoon.

We came up with the idea of the Virtual Egg Hunt when we realized that our Annual Easter Bunny Visit would have to be canceled. We were looking for a way to still connect with our customers. We are sorry that we weren’t able to respond earlier to those of you that sent in your forms this past week.

This is a very unusual time for everyone but especially for small business owners having to navigate and adapt from an active, vibrant showroom to an order fulfillment center, all without having any employees to help. Little did we know at the time how labor-intensive fulfilling Easter orders would be for the two of us. We never expected to get over 200 orders placed for Easter buckets last Monday. Each order required emails, multiple texts, and phone calls. These orders included personalizing and wrapping over 300 Bunny Buffet Buckets in just one week, We were working twelve-hour days to complete this task because not being able to complete the confirmed orders was not an option. We came home last night and collapsed. We have never been so exhausted.

We regret that those of you that submitted your emails this past week did not get an immediate response. We had to prioritize our workload and telling parents they wouldn’t be getting the Easter buckets they ordered was not an option.

A total of 162 children submitted entries to the Virtual Easter Egg Hunt. Many of you wrote how much fun you had and that was our goal. We would like to thank you for your participation and would like to thank all of you for your patience.

We will be emailing the results to everyone at 6 o’clock this evening, posting them on this website, and also on our Facebook page.

Contest Rules:

• Maximum 1 entry form per child. Ages 2 to 16.
• Entry deadline: Midnight, April 11, 2020
• Winners will be announced on www.loomaticsguide.com and on Facebook on Easter Sunday, April 12 at 6:00 pm and will be contacted by email. Only the first name and last initial will be posted.
• For local residents only. Winners must be able to pick up the gift card from the store. We will not mail them.
• A maximum of 1 prize will be awarded per entry.
• The child will receive 1 virtual raffle ticket for each egg found, including FREE eggs.
• Children 2 to 7 need only fill in the Image # on the entry form for each egg they find.
• Children 8 and older need to fill in Image #, Column, and Row coordinate of the egg. We will not be picky on coordinates, but it must be close. Use just 1 letter & 1 number for the coordinate.
• Use the photos found at www.loomaticsguide.com to search for eggs.
• You must email the entry form to le306@sbcglobal.net. Please include “EGG HUNT” in the subject line. We will respond to each entry within 24 hours so you know we received it. We will notify the winners via email. You may print the entry form and send a photo of the completed form, or you may enter the information in the spreadsheet and email it back as an attachment.
